Not only is the zombie apocalypse already here, it’s always been here. It is here and we are it. We are not the walking dead, we are the walking asleep. Any species that is trapped at stage-one birth of a natural two-stage process can only be considered aberrant,  malformed, and defective. What better way to describe the sleepwalker state, and what better word for such a state than zombie?
