Every time I stick my nose into the world of nondual teachers and teachings I get the urge to sit down and write a strongly worded message exhorting would-be seekers to stop being so gullible and to start making an effort on their own behalf. This would entail thinking, of course, but many spiritual seekers believe that effort means performing practices and techniques so they can have realizations. Realizations, however, are only useful when they facilitate actual steps. Journeys are made of steps, not realizations.
