True self is non-self, the awareness that the self is made only of non-self elements. There's no separation between self and other, and everything is interconnected. Once you are aware of that, you are no longer caught in the idea that you are a separate entity.
You exist in your own discrete universe-bubble, separate and apart from all the people you see around you. They may be as real as they seem, or they may be non-player characters projected on the inner wall of your outer bubble. You can never know, you can only believe, and no belief is true, so where does that leave you?
