as it really is than to persist in delusion,
however satisfying and reassuring.
Understanding plays no role in awakening.
There is nothing for you to understand. You can understand everything about everything and still be right where you are now. In fact, this describes many self-proclaimed spiritual teachers. They can talk the talk all day, but they’ve never walked the walk.
