"I do not believe that I am now dreaming,
but I cannot prove that I am not."

Bertrand Russell (1872–1970) was a British philosopher, logician, mathematician, and social critic. A leading figure in analytic philosophy, he made significant contributions to logic, epistemology, and the philosophy of language. He co-authored Principia Mathematica with Alfred North Whitehead, aiming to ground mathematics in logic. Russell was also a vocal advocate for pacifism, social reform, and humanism, winning the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1950 for his writings championing humanitarian ideals and freedom of thought. His work influenced both philosophy and public discourse on war, education, and morality.
