Game Changer

Many teachers and teachings seem to indoctrinate the student into a communal vision of reality instead of opening their eyes to see for themself. That’s how belief works, one mind entraining others to participate in a group psychosis, i.e., shared delusional disorder or folie à deux. It doesn’t seem possible that any amount of describing a place could ever compare to being there, but where the emotion-addled mind is concerned, it’s a simple matter of fear and repetition. Imagining your world makes sense when you don’t know there’s such a thing as sight, but you, advaitin, discovered that you possess the faculty of vision when you experienced the initial nondual insight, and that’s what we in the awakening biz call a game changer.
