I love to talk about nothing. It's the
only thing I know anything about.Oscar Wilde
Ex nihilo nihil fit, nothing comes from nothing. That’s not just a reality-challenging observation, it’s a nondual proof, (as if more were needed). The question is, if nothing can come from nothing, then where does everything come from? And the only possible answer is that, despite appearances, there is no everything. Nothing can possibly exist. (Ouch, that’s gonna leave a mark.) As usual, you either have to acknowledge the truth and deal with it, or concoct an embarrassingly stupid story to deny it, (yeah, I’m looking at you, Big Bang).
If nothing can come from nothing, then nothing can exist. You either disagree with that because the existence of the physical universe is so obvious that you can’t deny it, or you agree with it because reason and logic unerringly prove it. If the latter, then you just eliminated reality as a possibility, and must now figure out what’s left when it’s gone. You must rectify the appearance of everything with the certainty of nothing
