of what already is.

If dropping our baggage was as easy as dropping our baggage, we’d all be human adults and I’d be writing a Miss Lonelyhearts column for the Chatanooga Tribune. As it is, detaching from our emotional baggage is about as easy as deboning ourselves, so I get to have this cool job telling you how to do it, and the first thing to know about doing it is that nobody wants to do it. The dismantling of the false self is not a thing the false self can want.
