Usually when people are sad, they don't do anything.
They just cry over their condition. But when they
get angry, they bring about a change.
The false promise of the spiritual marketplace is that change comes from desire. We want to believe that, but in truth, desire arises from ego and vanity and results in complacency, stagnation and failure to launch. Whether it presents as love or compassion or contentment, the root of desire is fear, and all fear is the fear of no-self. The polar opposite of fear is hate, and all hate is hatred of the false self. Hatred of false self vs fear of no-self.
Hatred of untruth vs fear of truth.
