Fully and forever distrust anyone who tells you to “trust the science”. Not only do they not have your best interests at heart, they may, in the pursuit of their own interests, stomp yours like a grape. Anyone who tells you to trust anyone about anything is encouraging you to distrust your own powers of reason and abdicate your self-sovereignty to a non-self agent or agency. Why would they urge you to do that? Conflict and contention are the lifeblood of progress whereas compliance and docility are the lifeblood of eyes-closed fear-based ego-clad halfborn herdbound human children.
