I could no more point you in the direction of Zen or Buddhism than I could point you in the direction of the Catholic church or a doomsday chicken cult. But what about Advaita Vedanta?
I’ve looked into this predecessor/precursor of what I’m calling, semi-tongue-in-cheek, Jedvaita, and if I were concerned for your successful journey I’d strenuously encourage you away from it. Advaita Vedanta is plainly just another of Maya’s traps to keep you comfortably occupied in the dank sewer-dungeon of perpetual twilight, just like any other offering in the spiritual marketplace.
