In the early days of my own awakening, I assumed that what I was searching for was what every thinker, philosopher and stargazer had been searching for since the dawn of self-awareness, but during that first few months of frantic and disorganized flailing, I learned that not only was truth not on top of everyone’s Most Wanted list, it wasn’t wanted at all. I’m still baffled by how few people care about truth. Even our best and boldest thinkers, I soon discovered, were all still so entangled in false narratives, bogus paradigms and sticky emotional webs that they were worse than useless for my needs. It was during this confusing period that I realized, with mixed sadness and relief, that I was completely on my own.
