The Nonduality Trap

I don’t say much about the awakened state itself because there’s not much to say about it. This nonduality stuff is all about getting from where you are to where you’re meant to be (according to the unique snippet of code that defines you and sets you apart from your billions of herdmates). The whole nondual journey – out of the herd, up the slope and down the pipe – takes place in the dreamstate, so that’s what I write about; getting there, not being there. You don’t get there by closing your eyes and imagining it really hard, but by making a really hard journey. The getting there part is fairly universal, the being there part is entirely individual.
