There is no liberation to compare with freeing
oneself from the illusions and delusions of
the age in which one lives.Terence McKenna
Unchallenged beliefs and assumptions cannot form the basis of any system of knowledge, whether it be simple math or a complex cosmology. If your house is built on a foundation of sand and fog, it can never be made stable and steady. That weakness in the base will magnify throughout the subsequently erected structure. If a single brick is imperfectly placed, or is imperfectly cured, or is in any way deficient or defective, it will not long support what is laid upon it, so even the most magnificent palace, thus founded, can never be more than a house of cards.
