A few years ago, I cleaned my kitchen; not like a normal nightly wipe-down or weekly reset, but like scrubbing DNA from a crime scene. The impetus for this purge-level event was a recent revolution in my understanding of human diet which, in the blink of an eye, went from dark confusion to bright clarity, as if a switch had been flicked and the lights came on. I now clearly understand nutrition for myself and my canine household, and I’ll never have to bother my pretty little head about it again.
