Spirituality is not a form of therapy. If you have a pebble in your shoe, there’s really only one solution. It doesn’t help to not mind the pebble or to be at one with the pebble or acknowledge its pebbleness. You can either take off your shoe and get rid of the pebble, or you can keep limping and wincing. I mention this because, right now, your shoe is probably full of pebbles, none intentionally placed, all causing you discomfort. You can treat them as a normal part of life, but they’re not, they’re a normal part of human childhood. They’re just random bits of debris you’ve accumulated during the course of your circular travels, and you can, if you want, simply take off your shoes and shake them out.
