If someone were to ask me what Maya’s single most effective defense against nondual realization is, my answer would be, by far, nondual teachers. Those are her frontline troops, but in a distant second there’d be other distracting and misleading influencers, among them, the too-clever-by-half folk — the brainy-ass thinkers and pseudo-intellectuals and armchair philosophers — and the main threat they pose to the sincere seeker is called Simulation Theory. Despite its promise, sim theory doesn’t solve the reality riddle, it just kicks the can down the road. Forever.
