Simplicity & Focus

(audio included for paid subscribers)

That's been one of my mantras - focus and simplicity.
Simple can be harder than complex. You have to work
hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.
But it's worth it in the end because once you get there,
you can move mountains.

Less is more and least is most, or, as Thoreau teaches us, a man is rich in proportion to the number of things which he can afford to let alone. If you’re anything like everyone, you’re carrying a lot of excess baggage you’d do well to do without. There may come a time when losing the next ounce will take everything you’ve got, but in the early stages, you can shed excess tonnage without breaking a sweat. Whatever you hold onto holds also onto you, so when it comes to rising up by slimming down, you’re in the happy position of being able to trim off pounds of useless fat without any great effort or sense of loss.
