The world in which we were called to
exist was an absurd world, and there was
no other in which we could take refuge.
The list of things that don’t exist is pretty extensive since everything we believe does exist is on it. Still, it’s amusing to pull the list out and read off a few items now and then, just as a reminder of who and what and where we’re really not.
