JEDVAITA

Rabid Badger

(audio available for paid subscribers)

He who knows how to live can walk abroad without fear of rhinoceros or tiger. In him, the rhinoceros can find no place to thrust its horn and the tiger no place to use its claws. He will not be wounded in battle because weapons can find no place to pierce. Why is this so? Because in him there is no place for death to enter.

Advaita means not-two, and not-two is the only thing you need to know in your entire spiritual endeavor. That can be a little scary, I know, but it’s a scary business. It’s a big deal to have someone toss the weapon that can destroy the universe into your lap like a rabid badger and say, “Okay, the ball’s in your court, good luck,” but that’s what nonduality really is and that’s what it really means.
