None are more hopelessly enslaved than
those who falsely believe they are free.

A common example of subscribing to a false narrative is believing a politician. We’re always shocked and dismayed to find we’ve been deceived, then we go right out and line up for more. Of course, everything is draped in false narrative, so you see it wherever you look; science, religion, education, health, spirituality, government, business, etc. It’s how this world works and there’s actually a kind of symmetry to it, a kind of symbiosis. All juveniles are in the same herd, elite and commoner alike, so the idea that anyone is above or below is itself part of the false narrative. There are costs and benefits to all concerned, so it all works out as long as balance is maintained and the herd stays together.
