Mind is the sword and heart is the will to use it, not just against evil demons and fire-breathing dragons, but against loved ones and cherished beliefs. Anyone can muster the gumption to kill monsters and boogeymen, but cutting mom out of your heart or abandoning the kids or killing the Buddha or turning away from human society — sell the house, sell the car, sell the kids — is a different level of challenge.
