You can't expect insights, even the big ones,
to make you suddenly understand everything.
But I figure: Hey it's a step in the right direction
if they leave you confused in a deeper way.
Insight is one of those terms I hear spiritual teachers throwing around as if it translated into something of value; value meaning progress. These teachers seem to assume that insights are good, and maybe they are, but it doesn’t seem like a weighty enough word to represent the breakthroughs that mark real progress.
