An error does not become truth by reason
of multiplied propagation, nor does truth
become error because nobody sees it.
The fundamental flaw (which is, of course, no flaw at all because no flaw is possible, so even saying there’s a flaw when there’s not is perfectly flawless), is mankind’s complete and utter refusal to believe that truth exists, or even wonder if it does. It’s not that we believe truth doesn’t exist, or that we don’t believe it does, just that we don’t want anything to do with it. That flaw is near the heart of our weirdly benighted condition, and makes the fantastically improbable dreamstate possible.
