When it comes to arcane spiritual terms that are totally fubar (fucked up beyond all recognition), it’s hard to beat dharma. I don’t have much feeling for this term, but if I did, it would be in the Hindu-y sense more than the Buddhisty sense. I don’t think I’ve ever even used the word dharma before (until recently), except one time I might have said something like karma-dharma-dipsy-doodle, probably not in the most respectful tone. (Disrespect for the great traditions being a hallmark of an able and active mind.)
