Whereas the juvenile self is a bird’s nest of random debris not representing any one underlying entity any more than any other, the adult self is represented and defined by something internal and unique to you; your core pattern. This is what sets you apart from all the other cells in the herd organism. This core pattern has a voice and seeks expression. It’s trying to meet you halfway, but you have to do your part.
