What gets us into trouble is not what we don't
know. It's what we know for sure that just ain't so. 

Annica and Anatta — impermanence and no-self — are just another way of saying neti neti, not this, not that. As with all anti-knowledge, these terms refer to what’s knowably not, not what knowably is. Awareness is knowably true, appearance is knowably false. This is not a matter of opinion or belief. You can know this directly for yourself and, thus armed, can fully deconstruct your dreamstate. Once you know the path, it’s just a matter of walking it.
